I am writing this with Kiss the Rain and Stay in Memory by Yiruma playing in Youtube. It seriously making me baper. I am trying to remember every single thing we've been through together in the past 3 months. But this is not gonna be a long post that show every details. It's just the voice of my heart (I don't know how to say curahan hati in English). Sorry if there are some things missed.
Our story started at 29th of November 2015. In the day before the opening of our course program, we decided to meet in the gate of ITB for looking for a language center building. There were only 8 of us. Some of us maybe already knew each other because we came from the same region. But mostly, that was our first meet. Oh yes, I already met Cintya the beautiful moon accidentally in Juanda airport before.
The next day, we finally met each other. All of us. I remember we sat in the front, introduced our name and the place where we came from. I also remember the Jembernese came together as a group. I actually had a hard time to remember every name of you guys (sorry). It always be my number one problem when meet new people. But actually the biggest problem for me is 'facing the new people' itself (I think I've mentioned it in this post). I thought that I need at least a month to getting close with you guys. But surprisingly, we didn't need much time to getting know and getting closer each other. And a few days later, we had new members in our class. The Lomboknese officially became a part of our class.
We became much closer every single day. And we started to match the boys and the girls. Unluckily, we only have seven boys, sooo, you know what I mean (Haha, just kidding). It was just joke. but hey, who knows what will happen next?
Okay then, lets jump to the time when we received our very first living allowance. We were so happy at that time. We decided to go to Alun-Alun, played around, took pictures, went to the museum, and had a lunch at Pasar Baru.
We also went to Tahuraa!! I don't know whether it included to our story or not because there were only some of us. But that was one of unforgettable moment. We walked for many kilometers to get the waterfall and hot water. But after kilometers of walking, we couldn't enjoy the hot water, because it cost too expensive. So we decided to went back home. We arrived safely at home at 8 in the night. it was a tiring day yet wonderful experience.
In the middle of the this program, we got a good news, kak Abe was accepted in ITB, and it means that he was no longer a member of our class. But it was okay, he still came to our class sometimes, he also came with us in our latest vacation.
Ahh, talking about our latest vacation, it was so amazing (you can read the details here). We really had a good time together. We went to Tangkuban Perahu, Floating Market, and Farm House in one day! We really enjoyed every single moment. In the bus, we played a game that revealed our goal in five years later. Almost all are about getting married, have children, and of course, pursuing PhD and career. I hope we will truly reach that dream someday.
After that vacation, I realized that our time is coming closer to the end. we already spent almost 3 months. The moments we had will freeze in my mind and my heart. Our nonsense and fun talk in the group, also a silly and intelligence talk in the class. Not to mention having a breakfast and lunch together with the most favorite foods, nasi kuning (also known as NK), kupat tahu and other favorite delicious foods. And of course, there is one thing that will surely remind me of this class. It is a word 'CIEEEEE' (with five E please). It always came out almost every time when there was something happened, from the significant thing, to the very very unimportant one.
Soon, we will step in our own direction. Honestly, I am a person who cannot really deal with farewell. It's hard for me to be separated with people I already feel comfort with. Well, we still have 2 weeks to go, what should we do then? study harder? or hang out more often? Haha (Remember, the real test of Toefl and TPA is coming very soon!).
Well, the end of this program is not the end of our friendship, isn't it. We can still meet each other later. We can have a lunch together or watch movie sometimes. But before we get separated, I want to thank you guys. For this past 3 months, thank you for being my friends. Thank you for accepting me the way I am. Thank you for making my life in this town much more fun. Thank you for being a home in this new and strange place. And thank you for the memories we made together.
Lastly, whatever happen next and wherever our dreams lead us, I wish a good luck for all of us. Good luck for everything ahead. Good luck for the goals we try to pursue. Good luck for the next chapter in our life. And one more thing, don't forget me, please.
Yes, it is.
Ps: Sorry for broken grammar. You know how bad my grammar is.
